Benjamin Reinhardt

Ben is bad at staying in boxes - he’s worked in the worlds of experimental physics, mechanical engineering, medieval history, NASA, computer vision, business, and experience design.

Ben is currently an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Susa Ventures. He is working on products that use AI that augments and connects people, rather than replacing them. His current focus is on memory around conversations. Previously, he worked at Magic Leap where he watched it grow by an order of magnitude while working on deep learning, mixed reality UX, and computer vision. He has a Ph.D. in Space Robotics from Cornell. Some things he’s interested in: complex systems, third spaces, knowledge transfer, UX for intelligent systems, tribes and communities, medieval history, fusion power, and space exploration.
