Kelsey McKay
Kelsey McKay was a prosecutor in Austin, Texas for 12-years exclusively prosecuting strangulation related crimes for half that time. She now trains and consults nationally to implement protocols and help strengthen how communities collaborate, investigate, treat and prosecute strangulation and in case raging from intimate partner violence and sexual assault to child abuse and homicide. She is the founder of McKay Training & Consulting and The Validating Voices Program. She serves on multiple faculties, advisory boards and committees, including the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention, International Association of Chiefs of Police Gender-Bias Initiative and the Conference on Crimes Against Women.
