Charlie Olsky has been an independent film publicist since 2008, leading the NY/national campaigns for films such as MOONLIGHT, GOOD TIME, OJ: MADE IN AMERICA, CITIZENFOUR, and PERSONAL SHOPPER. In his current position at Cinetic Media, where he has worked since 2014, Olsky works with distributors such as Netflix, A24, IFC Films, Magnolia, Amazon and Bleeker Street to develop and enact publicity strategies and campaigns for their films. Prior to Cinetic Media, Olsky was the VP in charge of publicity at Oscilloscope Laboratories, the independent film distributor founded by Beastie Boy Adam Yauch. In a previous life, Olsky was a journalist for Indiewire and a number of other print and online publications, which helped him develop a sense for how to craft a workable, appealing narrative for each project he works on. Olsky is based out of New York.
