Laurel Stearns has 20+ years in the music industry starting as a studio assistant learning the importance of the record making process to becoming a day to day manager for The Descendents, ALL, GWAR ,Dirty Dozen Brass Band . The moving into the label world doing A&R for Capitol Records bringing in the following signings: The Decemberists, Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, The Shout Out Louds, Fischerspooner and working with Sparklehorse. Then helped open up the Westcoast office of Redlight Management going back into management with The Decemberists . Continuing on to Primary Wave , management clients in the past 5 years include: Father John Misty, White Denim, Red Fang, Jenny O. The Album Leaf, U.S. Girls, Baskery , Preservation Hall Jazz Band and PPL MVR
