Mike Smith runs Marketing and New Media at venerable, Grammy-nominated independent record label Bloodshot Records, where he works with a roster of 20+ independent touring bands. At the label Smith also manages digital music and video strategy, sponsorships, events, merchandise, and art direction. In addition to his work at Bloodshot, Smith has worked in journalism, management, booking, show promotion, and performance. Smith also spent several years working in the advertising industry. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing with a Minor in Music Industry from James Madison University.
