Anne Beate Hovind is Project Director of Bjørvika Utvikling’s art programme in Oslo. She will present two internationally known art works: Future Library by Scottish artist Katie Paterson and Flatbreadsociety by FutureFarmers (USA, Belgium). Both are ambitious, large-scale, impactful, collaborative works that challenge our concept of time and trust. She will explain how she as the producer of these magical works Gets Things Done. Creating that magic requires planning, tactics and strategies – it’s also a logistical nightmare. It means convincing stakeholders to participate, navigating talks with architects, politicians and city planners. Hovind will explain how she connects and collaborates with so many different people and the importance of a tactical mindset and faith in trust and creativity.
