Some of the best movies every year are based on real life people and events. This workshop will explore the challenges of turning true stories into stories for the screen. We will discuss research methods, acquiring life rights, and how to balance fact versus fiction when developing a true story into a screenplay. Relevant to writers and producers interested in telling stories based on actual events.
