Jenessa Carder (Isobar): Mentor

Jenessa describes herself as a constant student of human behavior and anthropology, a kid at heart, passionate feminist & dedicated mentor. She's an Associate Communications Strategy Director at Isobar, a digital marketing & technology agency & a previous professor of Visual Literacy at Emerson College. Her favorite career highlights include watching her students launch their careers, changing America's food waste habits with the Ad Council's Save the Food Campaign & celebrating shelter dogs with Halo Pet Food's first ever national campaign, giving thousands the gift of eyesight with the launch of Toms Eyewear, and developing an international software developer conference.
Outside of work, Jenessa currently serves on the Board of Directors for ImprovBoston & volunteers for the Boston Athletic Association events. Jenessa can also be heard sharing 'terrible' Laffy-Taffy quality jokes, speaking at industry conferences, attempting to travel to all the national parks, cheering on the Bruins & the Stars and dancing with the latin dance company, Motus.
