Tiny Canvases: Identity and Protest through Nail Art

The nail salon is a traditionally female space, so what is its potential in our ever-evolving world? The ideas exchanged while holding hands fuel nail art inspired by politics, gender identity, social justice, entertainment, and culture. Using polish to convey complex concepts yields ten tiny canvases that are approachable, engaging, and a unique timestamp of the climate in which they were created.
