Robots and automation present tremendous opportunities for the future of society and the economy. But there are also downside risks in the transition from the information age to the automation age. Last mile issues, big data, and the internet of things will be big drivers of opportunities in technology, but some individuals could be left behind. This talk examines the importance of having an adaptive workforce and what individuals need to do now, to prepare successfully for the future of work.
