Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) have become buzz words inside almost every American Institution. Although Black and Latinx populations are seeing incredible growth in college attainment, they aren’t seeing that translate into representation inside institutions who say they value D&I. In this session, we rethink common practices in ways that will result in true D&I while tapping into the “superpowers” of first-generation students who are becoming first-generation professionals.
