Investors are finally catching on to the market potential of tech startups serving the oft-ignored health needs of half the population: women. This “Femtech” sector, estimated to be a $200B industry, includes everything from period trackers, apps to prescribe birth control, internet-connected breast pumps, and apps and wearables for fertility tracking. This panel will discuss the Femtech revolution and the role of bias in causing the late arrival of many investors to embrace it.
