While politicians continue to debate the upsides of closing borders to "others," musicians know that open borders bring people together. After all, there is no “other” in music; only other kinds of music. The rhythms, sounds and instruments may be different, but the goal remains the same: to connect with one another. Promoters, the press, and music itself can help make those connections. This session will focus on building bridges with our many and varied musical genres.
