The term “smart cities” has become synonymous for cities implementing new technologies, though truly smart cities are more than tech savvy. Cities are reflections of the people who live, work and play within them. The overall theme of our program is “The Future of Living”.

We start off at 9.30am with an Expo on " Who designs the city”, followed by a Panel discussion hosted by HRH Prince Constantijn van oranje, special envoy for startups, on urban development. With representatives of our Dutch cities and friends from abroad, like the CTO of New York, as well as startups we will present you a thrilling program. Last but not least the Closing Networking Drinks of the Cities Summit SXSW will be hosted at the New Dutch Wave House.
