This FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC event celebrates the spirit of community in Austin that we think is unique to SXSW.

Six individuals and six organizations will be recognized for their outstanding commitment to community service and awarded grants to continue their work.

The Organization Award honors organizations that benefit the communities SXSW serves. The Individual Award honors the difference one person can make to a community and celebrates the life and work of SXSW Interactive co-founder, Dewey Winburne.
