The Bright Light Social Hour at Scoot Inn

Date TBA

Ghost Dance

The Bright Light Social Hour has not a motto to speak of not because it is punk not to have a motto but rather they would simply just abandon it after a year or so. That is because The Social Hour is a group of three people and a cat man. People and cat men cannot simply “have motto.” That is pretty stupid, you know, to have a motto for a rock band.

Oh politics and crap is their thing I suppose. Not really anymore because really who cares right now. It is dark and shit and we just all need to huddle up with our loved ones hoping we are not going to die from diarrhea or nuclear war. We huddle together telling each other, “not today!” Oh yeah and we give to our musicians. We jam out to the art-rock mood-punk glam band that performs really damn fine shows. They keep the mind from going to the dark places.

The Bright Light Social Hour is like if you combined Cat Stevens with a bit of Philadelphia Soul, a splash of Stax and a shit ton of Can. Maybe not? Combine your one list of bands… that would be The Social Hour as long as none of the bands suck.
