Glaswegian duo Alicia Matthews (SUE ZUKI/ Organs of Love) and Cassie Ezeji (Golden Teacher) were neighbourhood sweethearts who cemented their love over the Tascam analogue tape recorder in Glasgow’s Green Door Studio back in 2011. Their first EP ‘Ladies As Pimps’ was self-released in 2014 and became an underground cult favourite. June 2016 saw the release of their second 12” record ‘Who, Me?’ on MIC records which has already been championed by tastemakers such as Ben UFO, The Vinyl Factory and Resident Advisor. Frequently compared to the likes of ESG and Lizzy Mercier Descloux yet the pair cite Ru Paul as their main influence.
