El Otro Grupo is Noise Pop hailing from Santa Marta, Colombia. Contrasting catchy melodies with sound experimentation and noise, they are in a continuing effort to reinvent their music on every release. As a unique proposal in their region, they are becoming leaders in a growing alternative scene in the Colombian Caribbean where traditional and Latin rhythms dominate the market. Their homonym first LP was released in 2014 and in 2016 they participated in the "Festival Estéreo Picnic" in Bogotá, the largest music festival in Colombia and showcased at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX, USA in the same year.

Heavily influenced by the sound of bands like Sonic Youth, Sigur Rós, The Amazing, Radiohed, Kashmir, among others, they recently released their second studio album "Rompecabezas". This was a single 53 minutes-long track described by the band members as "a work of art with diverse movements talking about life itself". In 2017, shortly after its release, they kicked off the "RompecabezasTour", so far completing 19 dates in Colombia and three European countries (France, Spain and Austria) and next to artists such as Lambchop, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz, and more.
