Yen Tan

Malaysian-born Yen Tan is an award-winning filmmaker and graphic designer in Austin, TX. His last feature, "Pit Stop" (Sundance and SXSW 2013) was nominated for a John Cassavetes Award at Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014. "1985" is based on his Short of the Week and Vimeo Staff Pick of the same title, which won a Special Jury Prize in SXSW 2016.
