Ari Aster

Ari Aster received his MFA in Directing from the AFI Conservatory. He has written and directed several short films, most notable Munausen, Basically and the controversial 30-minute The Strange Thing About the Johnsons. His films have played in the New York Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Slamdance and many others. Hereditary is his first feature film.
