Only Girl is a soulful young artist, emerging from the DIY music scene of South East London, honing her own brand of emotional, understated pop, infused with R&B & gospel melodies.
Growing up in a large musical family, with 4 brothers, she attributes this to her early love of singing and performing with her musician dad, inspired by the powerful blues & soul of artists like Janis Joplin & Bob Dylan.
Her music began to take shape after being introduced to long term collaborators Zero 7, finding a strong songwriting connection with the duo, who went on to produce many of her early singles & feature her on their own releases.
To date Only Girl has has garnered widespread support across BBC Introducing, Spotify, BBC Radio 1 & Radio 2, BBC6 Music and online tastemakers including The Fader, Clash, Mahogany & Red Bull Music.
The past 18 months have seen her feature on releases with Zero 7, Kultur, Kitty Cash's Love the Free mixtape and playing sold out headline shows in London. Recently joining forces with Lemon Records, she releases her new EP 'Bittersweet’ in April, supported by the Momentum music fund, in partnership with PRS, Spotify, Arts Council England & PPL.
