Claire Lewis

"Claire is a strategic consultant with more than 15 years of experience working for and with the world's biggest brands, in sport and digital entertainment. These include Apple, MTV, the International Olympic Committee, Inter Milan and the BBC. She runs a consultancy firm driving growth opportunities for clients at the intersection between sport, media and technology.

Invited to join iTunes from EMI Music in 2007 to develop a live music strategy for Europe, she worked at Apple for seven years whilst the iTunes and App Stores expanded exponentially. Claire was part of the original team who built the Apple Music Festival into a technology-driven digital music-marketing event and worldwide success, which attracted superstars year after year. Claire's remit expanded to include brand and partner marketing, including partnerships with traditional and digital media companies.

Claire’s last role at Apple was working on a complex roll-out strategy for Apple Music in 100+ countries. She also led the international marketing strategy as iTunes expanded into 50+ countries including Russia and India. Key successes include the innovative, revenue-generating deal with the International Olympic Committee that launched during London 2012.

Claire has over ten years of non-exec roles within sport, including a nomination as an Ambassador by The Football Association and unique experience as the assistant to the Italian Olympic delegation. She was hired by F.C. Internazionale as Marketing Director in 2014 and was challenged to build a digital marketing strategy to support the club’s international brand expansion.

Today her team are the eyes and ears for clients who are at the sweet spot between sport, media and technology. Claire is an advisor to Europe’s fastest-growing co-working business and mentor at a leading European sport-tech incubator. Claire has continued her broadcast media training and speaks regularly to students, entrepreneurs and executive management teams in Italy.
