David Byrnes

David Byrnes is a partner at top boutique entertainment law firm, Ziffren Brittenham LLP, based in Los Angeles, CA and a graduate of UCLA Law School. For nearly 25 years, David has represented some of the biggest names in the music business including superstar artists, notable indie acts, top-tier managers and label executives, chart-topping songwriters, and Grammy-winning producers. His practice runs the gamut of the music industry, and in addition to talent, he represents legendary music catalogs, several iconic estates, has co-negotiated the sales of a multi-million dollar Broadway and other prominent publishing catalogs, and in 2015, he executive-produced the critically-acclaimed, Emmy-nominated documentary on Kurt Cobain, “Montage of Heck”.
