Crispin Parry has spent the last few years running the music showcasing agency British Underground, a specialist event producer hosting UK music stages at conferences and festivals around the world. His background includes fanzines and music journalism which led to an invite into the corporate world and the production of a new alternative music publication for the masses. He left the magazine citing musical differences and afterwards joined the Polyphonic Spree and spent a year as a consultant at record trade body BPI. Using this experience he set up British Underground to support new music-makers looking for opportunities overseas. Crispin hosts radio programmes on British Airways in-flight audio service and occasionally contributes to media including Monocle 24 and The Times.
