"Avery Ash serves as Autonomous Vehicle Market Strategist for INRIX, the global leader in connected car services and intelligent movement. Avery leads the company’s engagement in Washington, D.C. and helps shape business strategy in the connected car and autonomous vehicle space.

Prior to INRIX, Avery served as Director of Federal Relations for AAA. In this capacity Avery was responsible for the Association’s federal advocacy on transportation, vehicle technology, mobility and energy issues. Avery authored AAA’s weekly Fuel Gauge Report, which provides analysis of gas prices and trends, and served as the Association’s spokesman and subject matter expert with lawmakers and media. Avery also led development and deployment of the Association’s engagement strategy on advanced vehicle technology issues including connected, driverless and electric vehicles. This included policy development, execution of strategic partnerships, participation on industry panels and implementation of education strategy for lawmakers and AAA’s more than 55 million members. Avery has served on the Board of Directors of the Electric Drive Transportation Association and the Fuels Institute’s Board of Advisors, and been selected as a Aspen Institute Socrates Scholar and SAFE Energy Security Fellow.

Prior to joining AAA, Avery served as Legislative and Special Assistant for Congresswoman Chellie Pingree, where he focused on economic development issues. Previous to the Hill, Avery spent more than four years in Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he worked on technology, financial services and intellectual property rights issues. Avery is a graduate of Bowdoin College with a joint degree in Economics and Anthropology."
