David Benioff
David Benioff works as an author and screenwriter. He adapted his first novel, The 25th Hour, into a feature film directed by Spike Lee. His second novel, City of Thieves, was on the New York Times bestseller list for thirteen weeks and has been translated into thirty-five languages. His screenplays include The Kite Runner, Brothers, Troy, and Stay. Stories from his critically acclaimed collection When the Nines Roll Over appeared in Best New American Voices and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. David co-created and executive produces the Emmy Award-winning Game of Thrones for HBO. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two daughters and son. Benioff has won four Emmy Awards for Game of Thrones.
