Lori Melichar

Lori Melichar is a labor economist and the Senior Director of the Pioneering Ideas for an Equitable Future Team at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where she leads a team that explores cutting-edge ideas and emerging trends to help us anticipate, adapt to, and influence the future (5-10-15 years out), and to help us see new pathways to those futures in ways that tackle structural racism and advance health equity. The Pioneering team’s investments are often ideas that journey from the fringe to the mainstream years later, triggering fundamental changes to the way we live, learn, work and play over a generation. She is also the host of the Foundation’s Pioneering Ideas podcast.
