Shawn Burgess Thompson

Shawn Burgess Thompson is an Associate Attorney at Counsel LLP in San Francisco. Her primary practice includes entertainment and intellectual property contract drafting and review, complex litigation and dispute resolution, trademark and copyright registration and corporate formation.

Shawn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and studied law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She was an active member of Hastings’ Association of Communications, Sports, and Entertainment Law, and has previously served as a legal intern for both the Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA) and Reprise Records.
