Fernanda Barceló specializes in ACT therapy, a mindfulness-based approach to healing emotional and mental issues through acceptance, commitment, and a full presence of the mind and body. Her second passion is teaching yoga, and she strives to infuse her classes with present-moment awareness through the channels of movement, breath, and mental focus.
Her personal journey with mindfulness and yoga has inspired her to spread the message of how grounding yourself in the "now" can lead to a less stressed, more authentic lifestyle. Through therapy, yoga, meditation, and easy-to-learn practices, she hopes to bring the benefits of mindfulness to the masses. She is currently in private practice at the Austin Mindfulness Center and teaches yoga classes at Wanderlust Yoga Austin.
