Simon is the global leader of the Data Analytics practice at SapientRazorfish. For the past 20 years he has worked in marketing as a statistician, data analyst and consultant. SapientRazorfish is a digital consultancy owned by Publicis Groupe focusing on business transformation.
Simon is a passionate advocate of using data analytics, to generate insight into human behaviour, that furthers our knowledge and understand of how marketing works.
Based in the UK, Simon sits on the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Valuing Creativity Group, the I-COM Chief Data Officer Council and has mentored for the ANA. Simon has delivered data analytics for a wide variety of clients including British Airways, The Times, Sky, RBS, TD Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, Marks & Spencer, Vodafone, HSBC, Ladbrokes. Simon has written extensively on the subject of analytics for Campaign, The Drum and The Guardian.
As professional data analyst, Simon thinks that makes him qualified to be a professional gambler and poker player. Sadly, neither is remotely true.
