Sarah Malcolm is the Chief Digital Strategist at The News Funnel, the largest content platform in the real estate industry. Sarah is one of the most widely respected and experienced digital media executives in the real estate industry and is responsible for leading The News Funnel’s digital media efforts including the growing Content Marketing operation within the site. Prior to joining The News Funnel, Sarah was the Director of Digital Strategy for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Acknowledged as one of the CRE industry’s leading social media pioneers, Sarah has created and executed ICSC’s social, mobile and digital strategy, winning over 40 awards. She also made the Real Estate Forum's Women of Influence list in 2014. Due to her success, ICSC was named a Top 25 Social Media Savvy Association by Association TRENDS, a Top 25 LinkedIn Savvy Association and the number one Social Media Savvy company in the Services and Retail category. Sarah has also been behind the award-winning Social Media Pavilion, #iTechLounge, and the ICSC Coca-Cola Happiness Lounge which focuses on educating the Retail Real Estate industry on how a smart, creative social and digital media strategy can breathe new life into every area of business. Her intimate involvement in the digital-scape also afforded her the opportunity to be a guest author for the book, “Social Networking For Shopping Centers,” writing on the topics of Effective Tweeting and How Retailers Are Using Facebook.
