Grant Jones

Grant Jones is the General Manager of Above Average and The Kicker; he launched the latter in 2015 and has been instrumental in its growth, helping it earn a 2016 Webby honoree for Best Humor Website. Previously, he was Executive Producer at Condé Nast Entertainment, developing original programming for GQ, Vanity Fair, Glamour, New Yorker and Golf Digest. While at Condé Nast he won a Television Academy Honor, an ASME, and multiple Webby awards, and ended his tenure as Director of Original Programming. Grant also spent four years at the Peabody-winning Onion News Network, where he ran post-production and then marketing, and helped launch the branded entertainment division of The Onion. Grant received a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University in Integrated Marketing Communications and two undergraduate degrees from The University of Kansas.
