Greg Passmore

Greg Passmore has produced 3D music videos for Linkin Park, Slash, Devo, & Plain White T’s; developed visual effects technology used in Transformers, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean; and worked on simulation rides for Ripley’s, MGM and Disney. He has also produced dozens of museum films and was awarded several patents in special effects and virtual reality. He currently is producing cinematic virtual reality titles and technology here in Austin. As part of Greg’s documentary work, he has produced films in challenging environments including underground rivers, deep pits, remote jungles, and glaciers with subjects including vampire bats, helicopter warfare, riots in Africa, conflicts in the Middle East and death squads in Central America. Travel has been by rope into thousand foot deep pits, submarines in the Cayman and La Jolla trenches, ultralights in Europe, white water rafting on the Skykomish and by ice ax on several of the world’s most famous mountains.
