Luisa Conlon

Filmmaker

Luisa Conlon is a documentary filmmaker, producer, and multimedia journalist.

Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, PBS NewsHour, NPR, StoryCorps, the San Francisco Chronicle, and U.S. News & World Report.

In 2013, she served as Associate Producer on Gillian Robespierre's feature film Obvious Child (A24 Films), produced by Elisabeth Holm and starring Jenny Slate. She went on to produce Keith Miller's feature film Five Star, which premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and the 71st Venice Film Festival.

Luisa is currently a masters candidate at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. She holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Art.

She is a recipient of the 2016 Robert Whittington Award for Exceptional Reporting from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, and the Jerry Jensen Overall Graduate $3,000 Scholarship Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Northern California Branch.
