Suzy Marino

Just a few months after joining the bone marrow donor registry, Suzy got the call that she was a match for a 15 year old boy with leukemia. Even though the patient was a stranger, Suzy decided that she would do whatever she had to do to help save that boy. She works tirelessly to educate people on bone marrow donation and to squash the misconception that donating is a painful procedure. She would do it again in a heartbeat, and believes there are many more heroes out there, just waiting to be found.
