Alex Kimura

Alex is a Co-founder and Executive Director of Sharing America's Marrow (SAM), a cross-country movement to find life-saving bone marrow donors. Alex started SAM after finding out that she wasn't a match for the transplant that her little sister Sam needed. In 2015, Alex, Sam, and their best friend Taylor spent a year on the road, traveling to all 50 states in the U.S., signing up donors and dispelling myths about bone marrow donation. Alex is currently directing and producing a documentary about their trip and the personal journey they went on in their search for heroes.
