Neeti Upadhye

Neeti is a video journalist for The New York Times, where she produces short-form videos for the Times’ website and the NYT Facebook page. Previously, Neeti was a producer at NowThis where she created social videos by leveraging user-generated content and hosted Facebook live streams. Neeti started her career as a breaking news multimedia reporter for the Democrat & Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y. Neeti was chosen as a CNN Diversity Fellow by the Online News Association in 2016 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University. She is also that Californian in New York City who still smiles at strangers.
