Anil Menon is a physician who is board certified and practicing in emergency medicine and aerospace medicine. He is also a NASA flight surgeon. He did a fellowship in wilderness medicine. He now works in ERs, at NASA, and is a Major in the USAF. His deployments included search and rescue in Afghanistan and critical care air transport of ICU patients from Afghanistan to the US. He has been recently assigned to the Space Flight Support Group at Patrick AFB. His work in remote medicine took him to Mount Everest base camp and Haiti's general hospital 4 days after the earthquake.
