Nyla Beth Gawel
Nyla Beth Gawel, a Principal in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovation Group, drives the firm’s investments to build scalable, reusable, innovative solutions through stand up of a Solutions Studio. She most recently led the firm’s multi-million dollar investment in the Internet of Things (IoT) and strategic alliances.
As IoT Director, Nyla Beth led a dynamic team of strategists, engineers, and scientists to build technology, data, and cyber connected solutions and services, which tackle clients’ toughest challenges. In this role she was also simultaneously responsible for the design and launch of Booz Allen’s Innovation Center. Located in the heart of Washington, DC, this collaborative working space serves as the physical embodiment of Booz Allen’s innovation agenda. Through her tenure in the Strategic Innovation Group, she has stood up digital services, strategic alliances, and charted the path for future investment opportunities across the technology market landscape.
Nyla Beth has served federal and commercial clients at Booz Allen and for other organizations, focusing on standing up new programs in which clients are investing in or regulating leading-edge technology endeavors.
A champion of innovation, Nyla Beth turns IoT and digital possibilities into impactful capabilities. She is a mother of two children and two rescue dogs, graduate of Georgetown University, and passionate about fusing innovation into charitable endeavors.
