Maria Fernandez-Guajardo

Maria is the Vice President of Product at Clear Labs Inc, where she brings together genetic scientists, food technologists, engineers and designers to deliver the first platform for molecular analysis and data science for the food industry. Maria is responsible for product strategy, roadmap definition, delivery and maintenance of Clear Lab's products that span from authenticity, GMO and microbiome testing to pathogen whole genome sequencing.

Before Clear Labs, Maria was the Vice President of Product at RetailNext, the market leader in IoT retail data analytics. Before that, she held multiple product, engineering and business roles at Texas Instruments in France and Dallas, TX, notably at their software division for their mobile application processors. Maria started her career as a chip designer for Cadence Design Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Zaragoza in Spain.

Maria is a 2016 Silicon Valley Business Journal 40 under 40. She is on the Board of Directors of Ignited Education, and she is an advisor for the Stanford Center for Longevity. Maria volunteers with many other organizations focused on making science, technology, and entrepreneurship equitable for women.
