Jeff Abramson
Jeffrey heads up Virtual Reality Programming and Development for Discovery Communications as a part of the Emerging Platforms team after most recently consulting with VR Playhouse and SunnyBoy Entertainment. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy & Alliances at Broad Green Pictures, Jeffrey Abramson was responsible for sourcing innovations and business development opportunities for the studio, including Broad Green Investments, and he was a key contributor to the studio's initial brand strategy. He led the studio's virtual reality strategy and as such was Executive Producer on Lucy Walker's "A History of Cuban Dance" created in collaboration with Here Be Dragons. He has over 15 years experience developing multi-platform experiential arts and influencer partnership campaigns for Fortune 500 companies such as Acura, American Express, Cadillac, Canon, Delta Air Lines and Starbucks. Most recently he served as a marketing consultant to brands, agencies, festivals and filmmakers/creators. Previous to his consultancy, he served as Co-President of Gen Art, creating programs designed to elevate emerging filmmakers (including the Gen Art Film Festival), fashion designers, artists and musicians with the support of forward-thinking brands and new technologies. He began his career at Miramax Films.
