Arielle Johnson
Arielle is a flavor scientist and a Director's Fellow at the MIT Media Lab.
She collaborates with chefs, scholars, engineers and other food experts to better understand the science of food and all it connects to. Previously she was the resident scientist at restaurant Noma in Copenhagen, and Head of Research at MAD, chef Rene Redzepi's food think tank. Her work on food and science has appeared in Lucky Peach, Popular Science, Science Friday, NPR, the Harvard Science and Cooking Lectures, the World Bank, Eater, the London Gastronomy Seminars and Wired, among others.
