Colin Tomkins-Bergh

Colin Tomkins-Bergh, co-founder and CEO of Simply Native - a food startup making ancient local superfoods convenient to outdoor enthusiasts and health conscious eaters. Colin runs Simply Native from the beautiful isthmus city of Madison, WI where he enjoys playing on the lakes and winter activities, including camping.

Colin is a researcher for the Hyper Mind Project where he has conducted research on the relationship between mental health and entrepreneurship. He has conducted interviews and presented at SXSW Interactive 2016 on the relationship between mental health conditions and entrepreneurship.

Colin also consults for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the largest private foundation focusing on entrepreneurship in the United States with an asset base of approximately $2 billion. Colin works to evaluate the effectiveness of entrepreneurial ecosystems following the Great Recession, conducts research on entrepreneurship support programs and research around the Ag Tech sector.
