Brian Rainey

Brian Rainey serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Gooten, Inc, having formerly served as the Chief Financial Officer of Buzz Points, Inc, based in Austin Texas.

Mr. Rainey has a background in accounting and finance, having worked in the Industrials Group at Deutsche Bank in New York and the Venture Capital Services Practice at Deloitte in the Washington DC area. At Deutsche Bank, Mr. Rainey focused on serving clients in the Industrial Technology and Global Diversifieds subsectors in a variety of M&A and capital markets situations. His transaction experience includes public and private transactions as well as both domestic and cross-border M&A. At Deloitte, Mr. Rainey focused on venture backed early stage growth companies, providing accounting and audit services ahead of potential public market share offerings, private sales, or further growth capital raises.

He holds a CPA license from the State of Virginia. Mr. Rainey received his BBA in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University in Virginia and his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
