Julie Huls

Ms. Huls is an accomplished leader with a consistent track record of strengthening relationships with key business and community stakeholders and holds broad experience in management, operations and critical strategic initiatives. As Interim CEO for the DoSeum, Huls is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, departmental performance, program improvements and policy change of the organization. Prior to joining the DoSeum, Ms. Huls served as President and CEO of the Austin Technology Council, an association that represented 300 Central Texas technology companies, their executives and $22 billion in annual regional economic impact. Prior to that, Ms. Huls served in executive functions for real estate development ventures funded by McCombs Enterprises and others where she led project oversight, contract negotiations, strategic planning and financial reporting. Ms. Huls has also served as president and founder of marketing consultancy TalkMedia, holds a B.S from the University of Illinois and an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
