Pius Wong

Pius Wong is the Founder of Pios Labs, an engineering and education consultancy in Austin, TX, specializing in digital products and in-person teaching. At Pios Labs, he develops web products and educational games, consults on STEM education curricula, and provides training and tutoring services in design methodology, math, and coding. He also produces “The K12 Engineering Education Podcast” and the “Engineering Word Of The Day Podcast,” in addition to providing improv-based professional development through the ImprovPD project. Before Pios Labs, he worked as a research engineer for a global medical devices company from 2005-2010, then studied robotics and mechanical engineering design at The University of Texas at Austin from 2010-2012, after which he developed technology and teaching resources for The University of Texas at Austin, training hundreds of high school teachers from 2012-2016.
