Peter Holt
Peter represents the 5th generation of the Holt family business and is proud to carry the distinguished Holt legacy of service and innovation into the 21st century.
Peter joined HOLT CAT in September of 2011 as a Trainee in Holt’s Leadership Training Program and completed a similar program for Caterpillar, Inc. In 2012, he completed
a comprehensive rotation through every department in the company and was promoted to General Service Manager for Holt’s Machine Division, the largest division of HOLT CAT. He led all service operations for heavy equipment.
In March 2014, as VP for Commercial Engine Sales, he was responsible for diesel and natural gas engine sales to the electrical power generation, petroleum, industrial and other commercial markets. In January 2015, he took on the role of Senior VP of Diversified Businesses. He was responsible for leading HOLT CAT’s new Rental Services Co., Texas First Rentals, as well as HOLT Agribusiness and HOLT Crane & Equipment.
In March 2016, Peter was promoted to Executive VP and GM where he is responsible for all enterprise operations. In his new role, he continues to lead Diversified Businesses and adds the Machine and Power Systems Divisions to his leadership responsibilities.
Peter graduated from UIW in S.A. with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He currently serves on the Board for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce as well as several educational Boards including, SA Works, Alamo Academies of the ACCD, Workforce Solutions Alamo, San Antonio Regional Advisory Board of Raise Your Hand Texas, and the Advisory Board for the Business School of UIW. He is on the Executive Committee of the Texas Wildlife Association as well as United Way of San Antonio/ Bexar County where he is actively involved in fundraising efforts.
Peter resides in San Antonio with his wife, Lauren Kate and their daughters, Hazel and Penny. Peter, with his family, enjoys outdoor activities and anything related to the game of basketball.
