Stefanie Norvaisas
Stefanie is passionate about people, understanding what drives their behavior, and turning that data into insights that improve people’s lives where they are and when they need it. Having worked in the field of design for over 25 years, she has observed people performing both mundane and highly skilled tasks in homes, offices, schools, operating rooms and hospitals all over the world. Her projects have ranged from watching people clean their toilets in six different countries to understanding how people learn about and live with a diagnosis such as HIV under different cultural and governmental contexts. Whether it’s scrubbing a toilet or managing HIV, Stefanie looks at the details and defines the larger framework to help others develop empathy and real-world solutions to problems both small and large.
