Lauren Carson

Lauren Carson, an Atlanta native and University of Virginia alumnus, is the Executive Director of The Lee Thompson Young Foundation a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting positive mental health education, resources, and support. Through her work with Lee Thompson Young Foundation and as a Mental Health Advocate and Speaker, Lauren is currently a Contributing Blogger for the Huffington Post, has been featured in Refinery 29, HERS Magazine and Atlanta Blackstar. She was also featured as a panelist at the 2016 Clinton Global Initiative University and made Young Nonprofit Professional Network’s 2016 30 under 30. Lauren continues to lend her voice and platform to mental health awareness and empowerment of women and girls.
