Alexandra Fiorillo
Alexandra Fiorillo is the Founder and Principal of GRID Impact, an organization that uses behavioral research and design to create scalable solutions in the social impact space. She is a behavioral research and human centered design expert with over 15 years of experience in innovative product and service design, training and facilitation, and financial inclusion. Alexandra is also a Senior Consultant at CGAP, World Bank. Her areas of expertise are in digital financial services for the poor, financial inclusion, consumer protection and responsible finance. Prior to founding GRID Impact, she was a Vice President at ideas42, COO of MicroFinance Transparency and an Associate Director at ACCION International. She works to bring empathy and creativity to all development challenges and particularly loves to lead design thinking workshops in unexpected places, like on airplanes and in remote rural villages. She holds degrees in Development Economics from Columbia University and Economics and Latin American Studies from Connecticut College.
